Why choose SARD

Why work with SARD Industries

Custom fabrication is only useful when the part fits, the finish holds, and communication stays clear. Here is how we approach each of those.

  1. Made from your drawing, sample, or dimensions

    Reason 01

    The concern

The part has to fit equipment or a site that already exists.

    How we handle it

We work from engineering drawings, a physical sample, or measured dimensions, and confirm material, thickness, and finish before production starts.

    Your benefit

You get a part that matches the real installation instead of a generic approximation.

  2. Forming, welding, and coating under one roof

    Reason 02

    The concern

Splitting a job across several suppliers slows it down and blurs responsibility.

    How we handle it

Press work, welding, and powder coating all happen in the same workshop, with the part staying on one floor from start to finish.

    Your benefit

Fewer handoffs, one point of contact, and a finished part produced by a single team.

  3. Straight answers before production starts

    Reason 03

    The concern

Unclear quotations make it hard to compare options or plan a budget.

    How we handle it

We confirm the material, finish, and quantity your part needs, and raise anything the drawing leaves open before production begins.

    Your benefit

You know what will be made, how it will be finished, and what the job involves before it starts.

  4. One-offs, small batches, and repeat work

    Reason 04

    The concern

Custom parts are often needed as a single piece or a modest run, not a container load.

    How we handle it

The workshop handles custom one-off pieces, small batches, and repeat production of the same part.

    Your benefit

The same route works for a prototype, a replacement part, or a repeat order.

How we work

From requirement to finished part

A straightforward path designed to remove guesswork before metal is cut.

  1. 1

    Review the requirement

We start from your drawing, sample, dimensions, or the problem you need solved, and confirm what the part has to do.

Material, thickness, finish, and quantity are agreed before anything is cut.

  2. 2

    Quotation

The requirement is priced against the agreed specification — material, process, finish, and quantity — so the scope is clear before production begins.

Industries we serve

We support the sectors whose requirements match what the workshop is set up to do.

Quality & confidence

Confidence in the finished part

We do not claim a certified quality system. What we can explain is how a job is handled so problems surface early — not at delivery.

  • Material and finish confirmed up front

Material type, thickness, finish, and quantity are agreed against your drawing or sample before production starts.

  • Forming, welding, and coating in one place

Every stage happens under one roof, so responsibility for the finished part is not split between suppliers.

  • Finishing built into the process

Parts move from chemical pretreatment to powder coating and controlled curing in the same facility.

Common questions

Questions we hear before an order

Practical answers about drawings, materials, finishes, and how a quotation works.

What information should I provide when requesting a quote?
A drawing or a sample part is the fastest route. If neither is available, send dimensions, the material and finish you expect, the quantity you need, and a short note on how the part will be used.
Can I send engineering drawings?
Yes. The enquiry form accepts PDF, DWG, and STEP files, and attachments travel securely with your submission. If a drawing is not available, dimensions and a sketch work too.

Have a metal part to make?

Send us your drawing, dimensions, sample, or a rough idea. We will help turn it into a workable sheet-metal solution.

    Cut, form, and weld

Die shop equipment cuts and forms the parts, and the welding department joins them into assemblies.

  • 4

    Coat and finish

Chemical pretreatment, powder coating, or spray painting complete the part for its real use.

  • 5

    Packing and handover

Finished parts are packed for collection or delivery, with any agreed finishing notes included.

    Specification questions raised early

If a drawing leaves thickness, tolerance, or finish open, we raise it before production rather than guessing.

Which materials and finishes does the workshop handle?
The workshop works mainly in mild steel, stainless steel (SS 304 / 316), aluminium, and MS tubes. Finishing options include chemical pretreatment, powder coating, and spray painting.
What affects the cost of a fabricated part?
Material type and thickness, the number of cutting and forming operations, welding and assembly time, the finish, and the quantity all affect the price. Confirming these up front keeps the quotation accurate.
Do you accept custom or one-off work?
Yes. Custom one-off pieces, small batches, and repeat production of the same part are all handled in the workshop.
How does the quotation process work?
Send your requirement through the enquiry form. We review the specification, confirm anything the drawing leaves open, and prepare the quotation against the agreed scope.
